Valle Agredo: The Project
The Valle Agredo project offers a new development model for rural tourism
The Project

Il The Strategic Tourism Offering Plan was born from the call to tender issued in January 2013 by the Federazione dei Comuni del Camposampierese (Federation of the Communes of Camposampierese), a grouping formed in 2001 of the 11 communes of Alta Padovana.
The project is part of the Piar Train plan and was co-financed by FEASR (Fondo Europeo Agricolo per lo Sviluppo Rurale - the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development) and the Federazione dei Comuni del Camposampierese.
The objective of the call is to construct a web portal for the integrated and interactive promotion of the rural system within the local PIAR plan area.
The Proposal
The portal offers both the more traditional tourism options and the lesser known aspects, which are peculiar to the area.
Visitors will find itineraries to help plan their visits and to enrich and facilitate their explorations of the region, not forgetting the characteristic features of the place.
The proposal is innovative in its choice of tourist segments: the classic themes are naturally included, such as religious, cultural-historical, environmental, wine and gastronomy, etc., but particular emphasis is also placed on rural tourism, industrial tourism (with the option to visit companies) and on the exploration and optimization of cycle tourism routes.

The Objectives
Il The Strategic Tourism Offering Plan was born from the call to tender issued in January 2013 by the Federazione dei Comuni del Camposampierese (Federation of the Communes of Camposampierese), a grouping formed in 2001 of the 11 communes of Alta Padovana.
To create a portal that is both an effective and functional tool for tourists to organise their own stays in the Valle Agredo area.
To actively involve the area in its promotion and optimisation: from operators in the sectors, to the institutions, stakeholders and, of course, the local people.
